Terms & Conditions

The terms on which we provide this website and our services.

These terms apply to the website gyanbittech.in and to services provided by GyanBit Tech, Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.

Using this website

The content here is for information. Descriptions of services, prices and timelines are indicative and do not constitute a binding offer. We may change or remove pages at any time.

Quotations and engagements

Work begins only once a written quotation has been issued by us and accepted by you. That quotation, together with the scope document attached to it, governs the engagement and takes precedence over anything stated on this website.

Quotations are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. Changes requested after acceptance are quoted separately before being built.

Payment

Payment terms are set out in each quotation. GST is charged at the applicable rate. Work may be paused on overdue invoices.

Ownership of what we build

On full payment, the source code, database and hosting credentials for work built specifically for you are transferred to you, together with the intellectual property rights in that work.

This does not extend to third-party components, open-source libraries or our own pre-existing tools and products, which remain under their own licences.

Support and maintenance

Each delivery includes a support window stated in the quotation. After it, support is available under a separate maintenance agreement. Faults that prevent the system doing what it was delivered to do are corrected at no charge during the support window.

Your responsibilities

Projects depend on timely access to your people, data and systems. Delays in providing these move the delivery date accordingly. You confirm that any content or data you give us is yours to use.

Limitation of liability

We take care in our work, but no software is free of defects. Our total liability for any engagement is limited to the fees paid to us for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit or data, except where Indian law does not permit such a limitation.

You are responsible for maintaining your own backups of live data.

Confidentiality

We treat your business information as confidential and do not disclose it to third parties, except where required by law. We will not name you as a client publicly without your permission.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka have exclusive jurisdiction.
